velveteen pants

No bunnies were harmed in the making of these pants. Crazy pumpkin uncut corduroy velveteen made from the tester pant pattern minus the bottom hem allowance. Apparently, her legs are not that long, though it's a Japanese size 90 cm. I serged these because of the fluff issue and that must have been the difference.

The fabric is heavy enough to stop most winter weather so I resisted lining them. Miss Loodyloo likes the extra bit of freedom and I appreciate the easier sewing as I'm also starting the gift making in earnest now. Check out that 70's sheen. Right on, man.

Waaah! I love them. I've just realized that what I want is to have Loody's wardrobe in my size. Orange sheen. Orange this and that. Orange everything. Those shoes. The whole thing.

Sigh... me too -- but I can't pull it off so I'm dressing vicariously through my kid :)

Thanks for stopping by and please feel free to comment -- I love reading them.  However, please do not use my images and/or text without asking my permission first. Thank you.
