Pattern testing

Felicity's dress & windsor chair

No, not a Laura dress, I know. That is coming when the sun is aligned with the Kindergartener's busy schedule.

Instead, this is a simple test muslin from the Colonial Williamsburg doll pattern I brought back this spring using a small scale rose floral that probably would have worked better for the 19th century.
Oh well, that's what a muslin is, really, a test with fabric you don't mind using on possible mistakes and adjustments. Still, it makes a fine play dress and Miss Loodyloo will love it.

See, I have this great urge to make something ridiculous and over the top in small, fussy 18 inch size. Something like this magnificent Robe à la Polonaise. Ridiculous, I know.
